there’s no such thing as upside down
as she sways to the music,
hair licking the back of her neck.
there goes the sun and i say its all right:
for the first time in my life i understand the feeling of irreplaceable.
hit with glittery bricks, we strive for new and unusual experiences,
only survived by sunburns.
things you can’t control always have a thing for polarity:
i blinked and there were too many people
and the crowd went wild.
she drapes her limbs over mine, a spiritual relationship in laughter,
sins beneath virgin feet.
it’s hard to believe in a good night’s sleep, vacation.
im still trying to find the rainbow in the gutter here,
but on the bright side, the sun is shining.
